In Every generation in my family (That we are Able to trace), at least There Was a tcm doctor, Who has done wonders for Their Patients-through medicine as well as Humanitarian work for the poor. Industrialized unlikable modern thinking; Many ppl in the world choose medicine to help others (like my grandfather) and not to make money. Would He Even give out free services and medications, and although our family Was Not rich, dirt poor We Were not Either! That IS what a Meaningful life is about!
Any system of medicine icts Will Have Benefits and downfall, as well as supporters and Critics. Purpose, Just Because you do not understand it Does not mean icts wrong! It Always gets me when ppl SOME (despite of race) from the West think That Their system for Anything is superior to everyone else’s That They Are and know-it-alls.
Before the advancement of modern Western medicine, WAS “traditional” Western medicine as witchcraft Not Seen? How old Is The scientific / evidence-based medicine system-been around for? Probably from around the 1600′s When Leeuwenhoek’s “amazing” discovery! And What Was Not Even the start of modern medicine mainsteam, just aim the starting point for lab work.

(I’ve seen my share of So-Called Specialists) I am sorry That You find a load of BS TCM. But I Do not blame you, sincere TCM IS NOT Accepted as well and practiced Where You Live. You tend to find better TCM Practitioners in Chinese Communities, e. g. in Hong Kong

It looks Promising. you’re right, I Tried oz TCM, I Could not pop a pill again Without trepidation. I do not want chemicals thesis and Their side effects to ruin my body
@ ClementsTom you disapprove of TCM Because it does not work for you, fine. but you can not speak for Others and say it’s a scam. i see no harm in placebo effect if it Can help heal the patients. Everyone knows IS Psychological well being crucial in the recovery process. Also, TCM did not work for you Because You Probably a bad doctor consulted. It takes a lot of trial and error to find a doc Good, Both in Western medicine and TCM.
@ ClementsTom Yes, I Would Actually. That Is Because only purpose of my direct personal experience and level of the Because of the proficiency of Practitioners in my area. I would first consult the Chinese medicine specialist to get idea of ??the year situation and decide if chemotherapy From There Could Be Avoided. If needed chemotherapy WAS then the TCM Would Be the primary method of repairing the long term damage to the Body That Would Result from using western therapies and medications.

I think Life Expectancy is Governed by lifestyle and diet Which is far less health-Giving in the West, NOT due to the Benefits of unfoundead year medical practice. @ SugarKatie I tried it for my ME (a real debilitating Illness Which Nothing Can cure) and it DID nothing to help me, except make me feel a little relaxed After EACH session. It’s a big money-making scam as far as I see it. Double-blind tests show it IS only really effective in Treating lower-back pain, using both “fake” acupuncture or placebo and “real” acupuncture.
Interestingly Enough, Those Who Usually dimiss TCM ASBS are the ones Who Have Actually never tried it. THEY feel superior efficacy for bashing TCM Whose Can not Always Be Proven by scientific methods. My personal experience with TCM has-been Largely positive. It not only controlled my overactive thyroid, purpose made me look better with Healthier complexion. That aside, the placebo effect of therapy Can Be Such hugely beneficial as well, as evidence shows. So do not knock it Until You try it.
Just look at the end effect. Needing to find Forget That explanation fits year Within Our current limited understanding of science. Look at pill-poping westerners. When They Are They are healthy old? No, They are like the walking dead. Now look at old Chinese people, They look healthy do not they? No walkers, prescriptions or medical supplies needed Costly!
