In fact, garlic is a common ingredient in many foods and pet supplements, usually in small quantities as a flavoring agent. For example, I recommended Missing Link for my feline patients for many years, it contains garlic, but I have not seen any damage from it. Cats are cats, they are much less likely than dogs to eat a food that contains too much garlic.
