This is probably the best book on Ayurveda available today. Clearly, not going into detail, and gives you a wonderful sense of self-understanding. Dr. Lad has written other books too, but it is more accessible.

I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who participates actively in achieving good health or a person with health problems who is looking for a natural way to fix it. I read this and many other books by Dr. Lad and also a convention 3 Health Day where he personally discussed ways to achieve perfect Ayurvedic health. I can not say enough about Ayurveda in general and how Dr. Lad brings forward the information and makes it all so logical. I personally used the remedies in this book for severe respiratory allergies, sciatica and common colds etc and it works !!!!! However, any user should understand that these remedies are not like medicine weatern, but they act as a change of lifestyle in terms of following a daily routine of life, watch your food combinations and knowledge and eating depending on your body type. I recommended this book to several of my friends. I did, I have 3 copies and continue to lend two friends and another for me to see.

I bought books on Ayurveda for several years. I usually read a little and then place them on the shelf. Not so with The Complete Book Dr Lad Auyrvedic Home remedies. I immediately adopted her morning routine simple, and it helped me physically and mentally. I recommend this book to anyone interested in making a profound and positive change. It’s convenient and easy to follow.

This book is incredibly useful and full of home remedies for a wide variety of problems. I tried a lot of myself – for sinus problems, insect bites, fatigue ordinary and simple stomach aches. He also advises on more serious matters to be used in conjunction with medical advice of a doctor. As a physician, I have more than 20 “home medical guides” in my house, and I usually turn to the first question. I highly recommend it to any household.

This is the first book I read about Ayurveda, which gives an immediate sense. Written in a practical way to advance straight, it is obvious the author genuinely cares about his readers.
I tried several cures listed in the book, they provided aid better and faster than any drug. There is one for headache (pg 250) who worked in less than 10 min. And the best news of all is that it lists for food allergies, which allowed me to eat dairy and wheat again. This book changed my life. I studied holistic medicine independently for the last 9 years, and this book is a quick leap forward in my awareness of the field of substitution treatment.
I just hope to be able to meet with Dr. Lad a day and offer my gratitude. Sincerely

If you look on the common sense advice, there are ideas very useful for every situation or problem you may have. It’s worth a ice or purchase if you see a used bookstore.

Thanx for the video! I’ll try the steam all in it, I had all cela.Je keep getting these horrible sinus infections often! I am sooo tired of them, I just want to cry! I used a goldenseal tincture before and I think it helped a little, but it never seems to go the whole way. How can I stop these infections from coming back??
