  1. This book uses an affection of a woman may encounter. Wrinkles cramps husbands irritable. There is a large section of massage for children to fix anything from nail biting to colic. It also seems there is a tea recipie for anything you could ever suffer. My personal
testamony: I have suffered chronic menstrual cramps for the last 5 years and no doctor could find the cause of the problem. This book helped me understand that my uterus is tilted backwards because of years of dacing and running on concrete. By massaging my abdomen using the method Arvigo learned in this book, for 2-3 minutes per day, I am able to control the cramps without drugs. You do not know how that feels amazing!
I’m not very experienced in natural healing, and I must admit it was a bit overwhelming at first, but now I am very confident in the subject.
This would make the perfect gift for anyone who has or is preparing to have kids.

  2. I felt like I was in training as an apprentice for reading this book. It is an excellent source of knowledge for Rainforest herbs learned a H’men (Mayan shaman or healer) and some plants that we grow in the United States. My only regret is not to read this book before traveling to Belize by cruise ship and will not Ixchel Farm. (I definitely will the next trip). The source in the back of the book is excellent for resources on the grass. There are recipes for teas and tinctures useful for all sorts of evils. Rosita also shared his knowledge gained from Don Elijio Panti to massage the uterus to the center of the tilted uterus which causes many health problems of women today. (If only we could teach our doctors in the United States this cure!). Also very spiritual book for teaching the spiritual side of healing and how important that is in the process of healing. The lessons I learned from this book, I practice in my life. I read this book before reading his other book “Sastun. It is also an excellent book on the Mayan healer Don Elijio Panti and learning, I could not put this book down.

  3. I had the pleasure of studying with Rosita, and her visit to Belize. I had the chance to look over this book until it was published. It is a wonderful book, filled with the wisdom of the Mayan traditions, healing and spiritual practices, as Rosita knows so well after more than 30 years working with Mayan healers. This book is a treasure and should be followed by reading his first book, Sastun my appreticeship with a Maya Healer disciples his trip to Belize and her pleasant relationship with Don Elijio Panti, one of the most respected healers last Belize.

  4. I took this book to a gift shop in Belize for the waiting room of my chiropractic practice in New York. It has attracted much attention and interest of my patients. The book is easy to follow and brings the timeless wisdom of ancient healing traditions into practical use. In one case, I recommended a remedy for headaches proposed by Ms. Arvigo. In conjunction with a program of chiropractic adjustments the remedy proved to be very useful. I recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in natural healing.

  5. When I bought this book, I thought it would be like other New Agey books that have flooded the market recently and have been distorted imagination of the peoples of Mesoamerica.
book was a ledger of ways, because when I looked at the remedies and read the explanations on the spiritual diseases I saw they were correct. I grew up dealing with the marvelous indigenous system of medicine that has been created there are thousands of years in Mexico and Central America and is happy that the book contained information that would serve as an ideal introduction to those wishing to know what the medicine of the Mesoamerican people really is. Rosita Arvigo has done a wonderful job!

I am originally Pipil and I think this book is one of the best books out there on the subject it covers and you can not go wrong with the price either.
