  1. This book is filled with good advice for owners of pets. Almost every type of health problem pet is discussed in this book. Unfortunately, because the book covers both dogs and cats of the information is brief. This is a good reference book for owners of pets. I recommend this book to people who have both a dog and a cat and need a good overview of the health of pets. If you only have one dog, or just a cat, you might want to get a health book that is more detailed for your type of animal.

  2. This book could be an encyclopedia of home remedies for dogs and cats. Over 300 pages of coverage, perhaps all common health problems, which are listed in alphabetical order making it easy to find something, delivery to asthma, fears, fever, sickness, cataracts, and behavioral problems such as chewing, the car chase, jealousy, house training and more.

The only drawback in my opinion is that everything is briefly mentioned, taking only a few pages for each topic. The authors could have expanded, making this book the only owner of a pet would need.

I would not recommend the property to each home with a dog or a cat because it covers almost all diseases and pain you encounter. The experienced owner will find it interesting to the library of the house, but if you are a beginner, you may want to use this book as an addition, “complete”. For beginners, I highly recommend “What your dog tries to tell you.”

  3. I have three dogs and each is different, this book gave me great advice. It gives you enough information to know when it’s time to see a veterinarian, or if you can manage a situation to yours. But do not take you to believe it takes the place of your veterinarian. Expense information for a dog or cat owner. I am very happy with my choice.

  5. Always consult a small number of these medical books to find out whether or not a condition you may have is simply insignificant or cause for alarm? I think we all at one time or another and this book, The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for dogs and cats is similar. Why my pet is destructive? Cyst is a serious thing? How can I clip nails on an animal with black nails? When to call the vet?

This volume contains the complete 1000 including suggestions of multiple tips on aging, barking, chasing cars, salivation, fighting, balls of hair, itching, mewing, anxiety of noise, overweight, poisoning, ringworm, spray, ticks, urinary tract infections, vision problems, worms, etc. This is not only a useful do-it-yourself book, but also which clearly sets out guidelines as to when to take a pet to the vet. A must have reference to the dog and / or owner of a cat. A great “peace of mind” book to have on hand.
