2009 Gaia Herbs Open House Pt. 9 – Processing Facility Lobby

Posted with permisison This winds up the 2009 Gaia Herbs tour. This was all filmed in the lobby of the processing facility. They didn’t allow cameras where the actual machinery was. Whew, I’m sure everyone is glad I’m finally finished with these, LOL. Next up I’ll be finishing up posting a few vids from my vacation to the Louisville area this past spring. I had already posted a couple of those and then I got involved with garden vids and didn’t have time to finish. My God can this channel get any more boring, LOL. I’ll have to liven things up a bit after that.

  1. I just subscribed to the local newspaper recently. Hmm, actually I find the local news keeps me in touch with my community… I’ve been to more wakes and funerals this year than ever before :O!
ps You’d do justice to the cover of JQ ;O)

  2. STRAY BOOGER!! LOL you never can tell though, the combination of foot fungus, stray booger and hawthorn berry (and possibly a dash of dandruff) just might be the cure for cancer… or sinus infections… YIKES!

  3. I don’t expect to be on the cover of Vanity Fair anytime soon, LOL. Although, I’m not sure if guys are ever on the cover. Magazines all seem to be dying anyway so ppfffft on them:) Nah, j/k, I love the internet, but it is kinda sad that it’s killing print media and print media is going belly up across the board though.

  4. Fashion statement of the year! Baseball hat over the hair net. Glad to hear that they aren’t moving to China like too many U.S Industries. I had a water fall type thing in my living room but every time I sat near it, I had the urge to tinkle. That thing didn’t last long! Telling everyone not to touch anything… would have been too much for me… the mere request creates a rebel inside me. Bwahahaha

  5. oh poop they were no fun!

  6. I’m sure they would insist that any stray boogers be of the organic variety. No chemical inhalers prior to the big blow would be allowed, LOL.

  7. I didn’t show it but the most annoying thing was this one kid that walked in circles the whole time during the tour of the fields while the presenter was talking. He had a pair of boots on and was trying to see how flat he could compact the plowed soil.

They actually laid off some people during the summer. They got in this really fancy super fast machine that eliminated quite a few jobs. I have no idea how that affected customer service. Anyhow they never put any job listings in the paper.

  8. The lab/processing machinery would have been *very* cool to watch in actual operation. This was a Saturday and they weren’t up and running:( They probably figured all those moving machine parts were liable to snag somebody.

  9. So how cool was the lab??? I love stuff like this, they should be on Modern Marvels.

  10. I’ve seen rock like that before. That purple color is cool.
Yes it makes sense you have to wear all that protection, they don’t want your leftover egg falling into their batch of goodies.
    I do love the waterfall.
It’s funny but I just had this thought. Kids and the elderly are the only ones who can get away with just rambling out whatever they feel like saying, however loud as they want. Ohh if only everyone could do that. But I digress.
    Is there customer service hiring?
    Please don’t touch

  11. Lol, oh no I think you may start something rotflamo..cough cough

  12. Good thing they’re particular about wearing those suits…
Just imagine if some foot fungus or a stray booger got into their supplements and did some damage :)

  13. *smiles back at the ever so talented Queen of Portraits* :)

  14. *smiles*

  15. I did get a bottle of water from a woman at the refreshment tent. Sadly no cotton tail was in evidence. I think I’ve been scammed!!! But then again the tour was free and the bottle of water was free and I ate two free cookies so I guess not, LOL.

  16. That would explain why no tall busty ladies took your drink order during the tour.

  17. Well darn those Gaia Herb people!!! Here they were trying to present themselves as being all natural and organic and everything and they go and try to palm off fake bunny suits as being the real thing, LOL. I should have immediately been suspicious when I didn’t see any cotton tailed Playboy Bunnies lounging about.

  18. If they were real bunny suits, they’d have giant cotton balls in back.
    Just sayin’. ;-)

  19. There was a bin at the end of the tour to deposit the bunny suit in. I’m not really sure if they were reuseable or disposable but no, sadly I didn’t manage to procure one for a prop. I guess I just wasn’t thinking ahead that day, LOL.

You certainly deserve some free *herbs* or a medal or something for sticking it out the whole day!!! Check in with Stuart, he possibly brought back as stash of *herbs* from his trip to Jamaica, LOL.

  20. Thanks Eden! Glad you liked them!! I enjoyed the tour but in video form there’s no for real fresh air and sunshine so it loses a little in translation:)

  21. Now those costumes would be fantastic for a sci fi movie – did you “borrow” one or two?

Now after that long day do I get my free sample of “herbs”… man?

  22. i for one do not find these boring at all. maybe that means im boring ;)
i think that beard guard is a fetching look on ya
lol @ the poor lady trying to keep her kid quiet.
    xoexo
